In Kind Donations

Habitat Choptank accepts in-kind donations of professional services and quantity materials for its home construction projects and in its operations - everything from roofing to marketing.
Some of our current in kind donors include
- Allstate Building Co. - donating labor for roofing on the St. Michaels Faith Build house
- Atelier 11 - donating architectual design services
- Eric J. T. Chandler, LLC - donating labor for roofing for 3 homes in our Milestone on Clay development
- Dow Chemical Company - donating insulation
- The Talbot Bank - donating land for future development
- Valspar - donating interior and exterior paint
- Venture Title Company - donating settlement services on all Habitat Choptank home sales
- Whirlpool - donating a stove and range for every new Habitat home in the United States
With the opening of the Habitat Choptank ReStore, we are able to accept many more in-kind donations - such as used furniture and appliances, and surplus home improvement materials - which are resold to the public to raise funds for future home construction.
Habitat Choptank is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization -- donations to which are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
A copy of Habitat Choptank's current financial statement is available upon request. Documents and information submitted to the State of Maryland under the Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act are available from the Office of the Secretary of State, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401 for the cost of copying and postage.
