25 in 5 is a 2.5 million dollar program to enable more low-income working families in Dorchester and Talbot counties to make a better future for themselves through home ownership. In 2010, and after 18 years of service, Habitat Choptank completed its 50th home which was purchased by Habitat partner Rowena Potter.
Many of our working neighbors in the Choptank region continue to live in substandard housing. This includes individuals like Rowena who, if given the opportunity, are willing to work hard to improve their own lives through home ownership. To learn more about how you can make a difference for at least 25 working families by participating in 25 in 5, please conact Nancy Andrew at the Habitat office.
