2019 Golf Outing for Affordable Housing

One day of golf for one great cause!

On Friday, June 7th, 116 golfers hit the links at the Hyatt River Marsh Golf Club in Cambridge, Maryland to support Habitat for Humanity Choptank’s 13th annual golf outing. In attendance were community leaders, business sponsors, avid golfers, Habitat Choptank board and committee members, and even a baseball Hall of Fame inductee, all golfing for the cause of building homes, communities, and hope.

“We cannot thank our generous golfers and sponsors enough for their consistent support of our golf outing,” said JoAnn Hansen, Habitat Choptank’s Executive Director. “The success of this event allows us to continue to address the affordable housing crisis in our community, and help our local homebuyers build a better future for their families.”

Thank you to our Tournament Co-Chairs, Fred Haller and Brett Whitehead, the golfers, the sponsors, and those who donated prizes. It was, indeed, a great day of golf for a great cause!
