Carpenter’s Club

As a member of the Carpenter’s Club you are a crucial part of the construction of each Habitat Choptank home.  The Carpenter’s Club provides an opportunity to join other humanitarians to provide shelter and safety for local, hardworking individuals and families that need a helping hand.  Depending upon the donor’s desire, every time Habitat Choptank dedicates a home, or on a monthly basis, Carpenter’s Club members make a commitment to donate a set amount.  That set amount and consistent giving makes a real difference.  When we know we have a recurring amount coming in from dedicated Carpenter’s Club members, we can effectively plan for the future.

To join the Carpenter’s Club, fill out the information below to submit your contribution as a Carpenter’s Club member. If you have any questions, call 410-476-3204 or email development@habitatchoptank.org.

Community Investment Tax Credits

Bringing together the pieces that put housing back to work.
Community Investments Tax Credits (CITC) support 501(c)(3) nonprofits by awarding allocations of State tax credits for use as incentives to encourage individual and business giving to benefit local projects and services.

Individuals and businesses that make charitable contributions benefit by:

  • Reducing their tax liability.
  • Helping Habitat Choptank achieve an essential community goal.
  • Making a targeted community impact.
  • Improving community relations and increasing their visibility.

For more information about Habitat Choptank’s allocation of CITC and to apply, contact us at 410-476-3204 or by emailing info@habitatchoptank.org. You may also visit the Department of Housing & Community Development’s information page.
